Becky and Brennan’s Orlando Adventure

A couple of us got a chance to take a really cool trip to Orlando last week. You probably even heard that Becky and Brennan were doing the morning show from Disney.

Becky and Brennan, as well as Music Director Ben and me, the Web Guy Addy (no its not an official title, but I like it) got a chance to enjoy a few talks, a few concerts and a couple rides in the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios at Disney World.

We saw everyone from MercyME to Francesca Battisteli to Downhere and so many more. It was amazing to see so many people dedicated to spreading a message of hope, inspiration and encouragement through music and through radio all in one place.

But it wasn’t all just concerts and seminars, we got a chance to have fun on a couple rides. Cool thing was, it was my first time at Disney World. I even bought R2-D2 Mickey Mouse Ears.

Probably my favorite moment of the trip though was at dinner when Brennan decided to order a Caesar Salad and an Ice Cream Float. Not only did he have my favorite order, but he decided to not eat the croutons (my favorite part of the salad), because of the carbs while he relished his ice cream soda.

We also got a chance to talk to friends like Matthew West, Peter Furler, Dara Maclean and more. Several shared some fun moments like Matthew West taking his daughter on a roller coaster, Chris August’s obsession with shorts and tales of David Crowder’s epic hair. We even got a chance to hear Matthew West, Chris August and Switchfoot sing their latest songs.

The trip wrapped in an amazing concert in front of the castle at Magic Kingdom. The Newsboys rocked the crowd with everything from Shine and Breakfast to Save Your Life and Jesus Freak.
