The folks at Consumer Checkbook tell us that in our area the grocery store with the best deals on the staples like Milk and Eggs is Wegmann’s first, than second Safeway and Giant.

If only I could avoid all the fun extras at Wegmans too though…

Another new way we found to save on your Groceries bill is to shop for fruits and vegetables by what’s in season.

From a Dietician:  Here’s a guide to help you identify the best produce deals month-by-month:

oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, tangelos, lemons, papayas, cabbages: red, white and green; leeks, broccoli, cauliflower

      Great list!
      Is there anything for December?

      Hi Amanda–

Are there produce deals in December? Or would I just do a mix between Nov/Jan?

      Thanks!

      Heather
