WGTS 91.9‘s mission is to introduce and nurture a relationship with Jesus Christ, through music consistent with God’s Word and today’s adult music tastes. In doing this we will:

  • Provide an entertaining family safe, kid friendly haven;
  • Provide hope and encouragement for the Washington D.C. area;
  • Provide resources to grow in Christ.

To accomplish this mission, the staff of WGTS 91.9 will be people of prayer, integrity, compassion and self-sacrifice, while at all times giving their best for His glory.

WGTS 91.9 is a listener supported, non-commercial radio station. That means we can not sell advertising. We are allowed to thank our business sponsors that make up 10% of our budget. We rely 90% on listeners for the remainder of our budget to keep the ministry of WGTS 91.9 on the air.  WGTS 91.9 is a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are owned by WGTS/Columbia Union College Broadcasting in Takoma Park, Maryland, a self-supporting subsidiary of Washington Adventist University located in Takoma Park, Maryland.
