Save Pastor Saeed
Jerry & Blanca recently sat down to talk to Nagmeh Abedini, wife of Pastor Saeed Abedini, who has been in an Iranian prison the last two years for sharing his faith. They talk to Nagmeh about her journey, and how she remains strong in the face of opposition, and just trying to get her voice heard in order to convince those in power to release him. Listen back to the full interview and learn how you can be involved in helping to free him.
Pastor Saeed is a former Muslim who converted to Christianity in 2000. Muslim converts to Christianity suffer discrimination at the hands of Iranian authorities. In July 2012, he and his family made their ninth trip to Iran since 2009 to build an orphanage in the city of Rasht. While there, his passports were confiscated and placed him under house arrest. He was later trasferred to Evin Prison, where he has been since. Last year, a judge sentenced him to eight years. The U.S. State Department has condemned the sentence, and have been working on his release. [from Wikipedia]
