Evolution Weekend Maryland at Baltimore-Washington United Meth. Conf. Center

The assumed conflict between science and religion will be addressed 5:30-8:00 pm on Sunday February 10 at the headquarters of the Baltimore Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church in Howard County. The discussion is designed to dispel conflicts which may confront young people about the claims of science and religion that may drive young people away from church or away from careers in science.  The event will feature an astrophysicist from the Adler Planetarium and a pastor from the Lutheran church, followed by discussion with a panel of specialists.
