According to the Maryland Rescue and Restore Coalition, human trafficking has been identified as the fastest growing criminal industry in the world. It is second only to drug trafficking as the most profitable illegal industry in the United States. It is a particularly lucrative industry right here in Maryland.

Join us April 20th at 6:00pm for No Price for A Person: The Local Fight Against Human Trafficking. The event is sponsored by The House at the Crossroads, a cultural center associated with Wallace Presbyterian Church.

Our hope is to raise awareness of the prevalence of local human trafficking and give our communities information on how they can help stop this tragedy. The evening will feature a screening of Sex + Money: A Global Search for Human Worth. Following the documentary, there will be presentations and a time of questions and answers with representatives from local law enforcement agencies as well as local rehabilitation programs such as TurnAround and The Samaritan Women. Recommended age for this event is 16+. This event is FREE.
