The Church United Conference is a gathering of leaders from all Christian denominations across Maryland to explore systemic issues of domestic human trafficking and define the Church's role in ending modern day slavery. It will include state and national-level speakers. There will be Action roundtables where church leaders will discuss ways to engage their congregations to focus on critical issues related to human trafficking.
The conference will be held on November 1st in Severn, MD at the Heritage Christian Church. It is being held by The Maryland Rescue and Restore Coalition and The Samaritan Women, two organizations based in Baltimore, that work to empower community members to combat human trafficking proliferation and raise awareness throughout the state.
The cost is $85 to attend. This helps cover the operational costs and includes breakfast, snacks, and lunch. There is also an optional dinner to attend that evening.
