Sozo Basic Training Workshop at The Navy League Building

Sozo is a practical inner healing tool that can be used to identify the blocks that keep individuals from fully interacting with the Godhead (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). This training session is designed to prepare church leaders, members, and Christian counselors/therapists in helping to restore individuals' intimacy with God utilizing the core Christian value of forgiveness. With our guidance and through the power of the Holy Spirit, this tool identifies and breaks off the lies that keep individuals stuck and releases the truth of identity, who God is and the freedom He has for each individual.

This workshop is hosted by Rock Recovery, a local nonprofit organization that serves those struggling with food and body image. The instructor is Dr. Margaret Nabgib, a clinical psychologist specializing in Christian counseling, inner healing and treating eating disorders, trauma, self-injury and mood disorders. Dr. Nagib received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. in 2000 and has been working in the field of Christian psychology since 1998.

Margaret has been featured on Faith Radio and in Relevant Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Today's Christian Woman magazine, "The Everlasting Love," and "Doctor to Doctor" TV shows. She is a frequent speaker on mental health and Christian treatment nationwide.

Margaret was introduced to the Bethel Sozo ministry in February of 2009 and began incorporating sozo in her outpatient Christian counseling practice and in her work with women and girls in a secular residential treatment center in Chicago specializing in addictions and eating disorders. She has had the opportunity to see firsthand how sozo brings healing and hope to even the most serious of psychological problems and this has sparked a new passion to bring the power of sozo to the professional counseling realm. She currently serves as Sozo's Regional Director for Clinical Psychologists. 

This full-day workshop is being held in Arlington, VA on Saturday, October 20, from 9AM to 5PM. The costs is $175, which covers materials and lunch. All fees go toward bringing Dr. Nagib to town for this training session.
