Election Day Communion in DC at Near Washington Monument, at Sylvan Theater

On November 6th at 7 pm, after everyone has voted, a group of Christians from the DC metropolitan area will gather at the Sylvan Theater by the Washington Monument to celebrate communion together. We want to affirm that our true allegiance belongs to Christ, not either political party. We want to offer a witness to our nation that Jesus really can create peace and bring people together across partisan lines. Our plan is simple: a time of prayer for our nation, testimony as the Spirit leads, and then a celebration of communion. This event is open to all Christians.
