GIRL RISING Film Screening in Frederick, MD at Westview Stadium 16 IMAX

"GIRL RISING", (PG-13), is a remarkable new feature film about the power of education to change a girl – and the world.  The film features 9 girls from 9 different countries all with the same dream... to go to school and get an education.

Directed by Academy Award-nominee Richard E. Robbins and narrated by Anne Hathaway, Salma Hayek, Alicia Keys, Freida Pinto, Meryl Streep, Kerry Washington and others, the movie is the centerpiece of 10x10 – a global campaign to educate and empower girls.

GIRL RISING is being shown on demand.  Therefore, 100 tickets must be reserved by March 14^th for the Frederick, MD screening to take place.  Tickets can only be reserved at http://gathr.us/screening/1109.  Of course, no one is charged for the ticket unless we are successful in bringing the movie to Frederick. 

Tickets cost $10 and a portion of all ticket sales goes to supporting girls' education programs.
