These two artists will render "An Evening with Beethoven", featuring favorites from one of the masters of composition, Ludwig Van Beethoven. †Julia Siciliano, Award winning concert pianist, Julia Siciliano has been heralded as a musician with "fabulous creative power". Ms. Siciliano has become a well-respected and anticipated rising talent on the world stage, being invited as a solo artist most recently with the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also a winner of many national and international piano competitions and awards. †She will be collaborating with distinguished cellist, Denna Purdie. †Ms. Purdie was the first black female to join the US Marine Band, "The President's Own," retiring as Gunnery Sergeant. She is co-founder of†Strings for Christ Ministries†. Ms. Purdie currently teaches at the Fillmore School of the Arts, in D.C., the Ottley Music School and performs regularly throughout the greater metropolitan area and also as a member of the Soulful Symphony. †This is a concert you do not want to miss.
