A concert of Christmas music from German and Hispanic traditions sung by Fairfax UMC's Chancel and Chapel choirs.

Jonathan P. Giblin, Director

Step back in time to the sounds of Christmas in 17th century Germany with a cantata by Dieterich Buxtehude and an anonymous setting of Mary's Magnificat. Then explore the carols of Christ's birth from Hispanic cultures in Conrad Susa's contemporary masterpiece "Carols and Lullabies – Christmas in the Southwest".

The concert is free and open to the public. A free will offering will be taken to
support Fairfax UMC's music ministry. Child care is available upon request and
all reservations must be received by December 1st. All are welcome to stay for a
church-wide gathering and potluck dinner following the concert, contact the
