The Youth Rally and Mass for Life occurs in conjunction with the annual National March for Life. The Rally strives to encourage the youth participating in the national March for Life in their witness as disciples of Christ and promoters of the Gospel of Life. The day begins with praise and worship, dancing, listening to witness talks, and prayer - including the Catholic Mass (all are welcome!). It is held at the Capital One Arena because so many come out to celebrate and defend life. After the Rally and Mass we go out on to the street praying, peacefully protesting, and evangelizing. Join us in prayer that as a nation, we may stop wandering in the wilderness of the culture of death and may enter into “life in abundance” (Jn 10:10) through our faith in Jesus Christ and our proclamation of the Gospel of Life. http://youthrallyandmassforlife.org http://marchforlife.org/mfl-2019/rally-march-info/

Grace Christian Academy, serving students from preK through 8th grade, will be hosting an admissions open house on Wednesday, January 23rd from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Established in 1973, Grace is accredited with exemplary status by WELSSA (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod School Accreditation), ACTS (Association of Christian Teachers and Schools), NCPSA (National Council for Private School Accreditation), and is recognized as a fully accredited private school in the Commonwealth of Virginia by the VCPE (Virginia Council for Private Education) as authorized by the Virginia Board of Education. “Grace Christian Academy offers a Biblical, character-building education in a loving environment,” said Principal Patrick Hurley. “Our low faculty to student ratio allows us to address the individual educational needs of each student, and our graduates find success as they move on to high school and college.” Attendees to the Open House will be able to tour the facility, learn about academic and extracurricular programs, and meet the staff. For those not able to attend, Principal Hurley offers personal tours by appointment. For more information, visit http://www.GraceChristianAcademy.org or call 703-534-5517.
