FREE MUSIC FESTIVAL. Everyone is invited to the Rockland United Methodist Church located at 8971 Chapel Ave. Ellicott City MD 21043 on Sunday June 12 2016 (rain date Sun. June 26) from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. for a Music Festival featuring the Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition. We are located off Rt. 99 just East of the end of U. S. Rt. 29 North. There is plenty of free parking and concessions will be available. Bring a blanket or a chair and join us in our natural outdoor amphitheater for good music good fun and good fellowship. The Open Air Campaigners are presenting our exciting one-week sketchboard evangelism training designed to provide training in all phases of conducting open-air evangelistic meetings. All students will be tutored according to their level of experience. Those who attend this training will be equipped to go back to their home church or field of ministry ready to conduct fruitful open-air outreaches.This training is intended for all Christian workers lay people and students interested in learning principles and techniques of effective open-air evangelism. Adults and teens are welcomed and you need not have any prior experience in evangelism.At the conclusion of this training participants will be able to:1. Present the gospel of Christ in a direct positive and challenging manner.2. Prepare evangelistic Bible stories for children and adults with illustrations drawn on a sketchboard.3. Love Wins House Estate Sale hosted by The Church at Severn Run When we purchased our new ministry home in Curtis Bay, Love Wins, we also inherited a treasure trove of antique goods and furniture. In order to help prepare the house for use and to raise money, we will be hosting an Estate Sale of antiques, furniture, collectibles, etc. All proceeds help us restore a home that will be used to restore lives!
