Exponentially Multiplying Bunnies

Exponentially Multiplying Bunnies

Ah, spring is in the air once again. The birds are beginning to sing, there’s light when you drive home, and the bunny population in Frederick is once again becoming uncontrollable. Before moving to lovely Frederick county, I saw bunnies maybe once every five years. Apparently in Frederick the bunnies are more plentiful. So much so, that I am convinced they can multiply exponentially. Yesterday morning I saw one little bunny rabbit outside in the backyard. Today when I looked out, there were five! FIVE! I know they move fast but goodness, FIVE? Maybe it’s time to start letting the cats out again. Just kidding!

What my backyard will probably look like around Easter.

I used to have bunnies in my backyard, but then they found out that I have Andy (my german shepherd). He has never caught one, but they got tired of being chased…Funny I haven’t seen any squirrels the last two years either…

I’m in Carroll County and agree totally! I grew up in Baltimore and never saw a bunny, just squirels…but we moved here 14 years ago and whew have the bunnies multiplied! I had a baby back in 2005 and was up MANY early mornings to nurse her…I’d look out the window (just to see what was going on in my neighborhoon at 4am) and saw “gangs of bunnies” running down the middle of my street! It’s crazy…but they’re so cute, I can’t resist them!
