Making a Difference.  It’s easier than you think.  You don’t have to quit your job and start your own non-profit organization.  Your every day routine can be an opportunity for you to encourage someone.  Sometimes it’s just a smile to a stranger, a helping hand to a neighbor, or a gift to a radio station.

It’s Day 2 of Sharathon!  Yesterday we kicked off Sharathon with a “Day of Prayer and Praise” this morning.  We were inspired by your incredible stories of how God is working in your life, and also how WGTS has in somehow become a part of helping you get through your day with faith.

We heard from a newly single mom who is able to balance 6 children, working full time, and going back to school.  She said only with God is she able to have somewhat of a social life, and have all 6 children make the honor roll.  She said she makes it through with positive, encouraging music on WGTS.

You made that happen by giving a financial gift to WGTS.  You made it possible for her to be positive and smile throughout her day instead of worrying, and becoming depressed.  And there are so many more just like her.

Will you give a gift too?  Can you take a break to your daily routine and make a difference in the life of a mother, friend, co-worker by keeping encouraging, family-friendly, Christian radio in your community?

I called and left a pledge earlier!

WGTS not only penetrates our hearts, but penetrates the heart of the city! It is my pleasure to not only help support WGTS but also to stand with you for what God is doing in the hour to rebuild the walls of our city. WGTS is instrumental in re-building the walls our our hearts and our families all around and within the DC area.

I can’t imagine not being a part of this great work!

Thank you WGTS for efforts and the inspiration that you are bringing us. May God grant you an abundance for the storehouse of faith that you are!

YOU ARE CHANGING THE CITY AND WE ARE GRATEFUL! YOU HAVE EVEN BROUGHT US (OUR FAMILY) THROUGH EVEN THE DARKEST OF HOURS.

I have been feeling a tug on my heart to pledge since Monday, today during the triple dog dare “matchy-match” I had to give in. I pledged a dollar a day. This is a sacrifice for me, but I appreciate the ministry of WGTS.

May God richly bless you all, as he as used you to richly bless so many others.

I just pledged as a dollar a day sponsor and would like to say thank you for all you do. I remember listening to the song “Be still and know that I am God” the morning after I was presented my lay off package. This song came in at the right time when I needed it the most. I thank God that even though I was presented the package, I was not let go. Thank you so much.
