Looks like it may be best for kids to dabble in several different sports. The folks in the white lab coats suggest that the kids they studied who only played one sport were twice as likely to get injured than kids who played several sports. Doctors say it’s got to do with how much cross-training kids get and their bodies being able to be exposed to different types of movement. That lowers the risk of getting hurt.
