Weather and your Weight
Cold weather can be good for your health. Saw this new research that says cold weather can actually help you lose weight. They say that when it’s cold out your body works hard to warm you up…and that burns calories! So if you turn down your thermostat at home, at work, or in your car you could loose weight. Time to book your Spring Break Trip
Now is the time to get the best deal on flights and hotels for a Family Spring Break trip. They say late January/early February are some of the best deals on travel. Another way you can save money on a trip is to negotiate group discounts. Invite the Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles; share a house on the beach and split the costs! And free babysitting for the kids!

And they’ll call him Jack Frost
Starting a family is always an adventure…but one pregnant mom from Connecticut didn’t bargain on one this big. She went into labor during last week’s big snow storm and couldn’t get out of her driveway. Even with her husband trying to dig out their car! So, they got a snow plow that plowed them all the way to the hospital. Not only does baby Jack have a great story to tell his friends one day, he also has a very appropriate nickname — Jack Frost.

Today’s Prayer for the Family
We can’t protect our kids from everything, we have to teach them how to deal with life when it’s scary and doesn’t go the way it’s planned. Wether it’s a scary part in Toy Story 3 or learning to be on their own in college. Today’s Prayer for the Family is for Courage. ”May my children always be strong and courageous in their character and their actions.” -Deut 3:16
