meet the personalities
Serving listeners through Christian music radio has been a career-long blessing. Serving listeners here in the Nation’s Capital is an incredible honor; one I don’t take lightly; one that strikes me at the beginning of every day. My career started in the early 80s, in college, and I’ve loved every single year of it. I’ve seen a lot of change and expect much more. It’s truly an environment of change, yet within all that change, there is the constant of a spiritual calling - a mission.
On the surface, what I do looks like radio - like media - like entertainment even. But the reality is that it is life-changing, hundreds of thousands times over, as God works on the hearts of listeners - here in D.C. and worldwide online. It is that calling to share Him with others that keeps it all fresh and alive. It is that calling that is constant. I like to daydream about a day in heaven when we will have a huge WGTS 91.9 listener reunion and we will each share stories of how God worked in our lives through a song, a word shared - through this media ministry, God’s ministry.
