    Location:  the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial on the northwest corner of the Tidal basin at the intersection of West Basin Drive SW and Independence Avenue SW Washington DC.

    The dedication of the new Martin Luther King Memorial will honor Dr. King’s national and international contributions and vision for all to enjoy a life of freedom, opportunity, and justice.  Limited seating is available so attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs and blankets. Also, because of limited parking, the use of public transportation is suggested.

    Taste of Georgetown

    A Taste of Georgetown will feature approximately 30 of Washington DC’s restaurants serving samples portions of their signature dishes.

    Falling for Handmade

    Falling for Handmade is an annual arts and crafts event hosted by CREST. The Capital Region Etsy Street Team (CREST) consists of local artists from the DC area. Falling for Handmade will feature jewelry, children’s items, pottery, pet accessories, and more!
