Taking Your Children to College

As a mother of two young children I can’t imagine them leaving “the nest” one day.  Just the thought creates serious anxiety and emotions.

Talked to my mom during the Morning Show today about what it was like dropping me off at college for the first time.

She says it was like “loosing an arm”.  She cried all the way home. But, the best part she said was when I came home for Thanksgiving.

I had matured from a teenager thought my mom didn’t have anything valuable to say, into a young woman that wanted to be helpful, and a friend.
