Time is the only thing in this world that you can not get back. You can’t make it, buy it, sell it, or even steal it! What we do with our time is so important and vital we can’t afford to waste it. I had the opportunity today to interview Will McGuinniss of “Audio Adrenaline” and the “Know Hope Collective.” Apart from a busy recording and touring schedule he and fellow band members found time to volunteer in Haiti. He says that it was one of the best experiences he has ever had in life and one of the best decisions he has ever made.

You, today, can make the decisions to volunteer and give back. You don’t have to travel thousands of miles to do it. Be creative! Helping out someone who can’t shovel their snow, listening to your co-worker for 5 minutes during your break, or even getting involved in a local community center or church group are all ways you can give someone the most valuable thing you have, your time. I have been apart of and planned many mission trips. The funny thing you realize is that as you try to be a blessing to others they, more than often, become a blessing to you! Look at the life of Jesus Christ. His entire life was dedicated to helping others. Don’t be afraid, let God lead you to a place where you can witness and spend your time helping others.

“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it, you can never get it back.” – Harvey MacKay

Prayer for the week: “Dear God in Heaven. Thank you for spending all your time with us. You even gave us your son and his time to lead by example and die for our sins. Today, give me the opportunity to use my time for you and to help others. I pray this in your name. Amen.”

    Aim High! Always,
