sometimes it’s easy to forget what our priorities are in life.  ///  there’s a pretty clear verse in the bible that talks about faith, hope and love – love being the greatest of these. ///  it kind of hit home when i heard about

a 21 year old young man who’s been battling a terminal cancer, has just passed away.  his story starting making headlines around valentine’s day when he married his girlfriend in the hospital where they were both receiving cancer treatments. ///

it ends in a sad way b/c of the fact that Rodney at the age of 21 just passed away.

but, i loved what his dad said he learned from his son’s very short life:

“We realize never to end a conversation on a bad note or ruin any day over an argument. Because you don’t know how many days are left, and do you want to waste them being angry…Love is the only thing that matters, really.”

You can read the whole story here.  I hope you are inspired to love more today…

Metro will start work to retrofit 47 buses that have a potential electrical hazard

Route 29 Batman is a real hero.

Fairfax county is the place to be for new area residents…US census data…more people are choosing to live in Fairfax county than any other jurisdiction in the washington area… the county’s friendly business climate and top-rated public school system draws companies and workers to the region for a job.

*We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.
*Instead of dwelling on the past or dreaming of the future, learn to appreciate the present.
*When anger rises, think of the consequences.
*Believe deep down in your heart that you’re destined to do great things.
*Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.
*The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
