    Cutting Costs for Christmas

Tell us your ideas for cutting costs for Christmas!  We’ve heard of some families having toy swaps, and wrapping up hand-me-downs.  What are your ideas?

    Nordstrom is Waiting on Christmas

The high-end Department Store, Nordstrom, is taking a stance on Christmas Decorations.  They are waiting!  Signs around the store currently announce that they are going to celebrate one holiday at a time, and they’ll decorate for Christmas after Thanksgiving!

    Save Money at Target

Target is encouraging you to bring in your own reusable bags by giving you a discount.  Following along with several grocery stores the company now says they will offer you a 5-cent discount per reusable bag that you use.  Hey, every bit counts!

“Where the Wild Things Are” not for every child

The critics love the new movie “Where the Wild Things Are”, it was #1 in the box office, but some parents have a different idea.  The USA Today reports that some parents are finding out the hard way it’s not for their kids.  Some kids find it too scary.  It is rated PG.  To help you decide if it’s right for your kids check out Movie Mom’s Blog.
